Murilo Carpi - 4th Theology (Jundiai - SP)

        My name is Matthew Biaggi. I am 28 years old, and I am originally from New Jersey, where I was born and raised into a Catholic family as the oldest of eight siblings. I felt called to the Priesthood at a very young age. When I was only 11 years old, I joined my parents on a short pilgrimage to see Pope Benedict XVI who was visiting New York and Washington D.C. This pilgrimage planted the first seed in my mind: Perhaps God is calling me to the Priesthood. The faith I received from my parents and the spiritual direction from the priests of my parish led me to discern my vocation to enter the seminary. I have been in the seminary for over 10 years and have received Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders. I am very grateful for all that the Lord has done for me and for all those whom He has placed on my path. During this time in the seminary, I have experienced God’s love everyday and the joy that comes from following Him.
